FairiesEye — Privacy Policy
FairiesEye (the "App") is provided by Fairy Solutions ("we", "us", "our") at no cost and is intended for use as is. We designed FairiesEye to do one thing — show you the camera with adjustable delays — and to do it without watching you back.
The short version: everything happens on your device. Your camera stream is never uploaded, recorded to permanent storage, or shared with anyone.
1. Who we are
Fairy Solutions is the data controller for any personal data that FairiesEye might process. You can reach us at info@fairysolutions.se. We are based in Sweden, so this policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What we don't collect
FairiesEye does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email, phone number, or postal address.
- Your location.
- Photos or files from your device.
- Any analytics, usage data, advertising IDs, or device identifiers.
- Any of the camera frames it shows on screen.
FairiesEye does not contain ads. It does not contain in-app purchases. It does not require an account. It does not connect to the internet for any of its core features.
3. The camera permission
FairiesEye needs access to your device camera to do its job. When you open the App, Android asks you for camera permission and you can accept or decline.
- The live camera feed is shown directly on screen.
- Recent frames are kept in a small in-memory buffer (RAM only) so we can replay them at the delay you choose.
- The buffer is wiped when you close the App. Nothing is written to disk. Nothing is sent over the network.
You can revoke the camera permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → FairiesEye → Permissions. The App will simply stop displaying camera frames.
4. Data sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data, because we do not collect any data to begin with. There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics providers integrated into FairiesEye.
5. Children's privacy
FairiesEye is suitable for general audiences. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children either.
6. Your rights under GDPR
Even though we do not hold any personal data about you, you still have rights under the GDPR — including the right to ask us what we process, to request deletion, and to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
7. Security
Camera frames live only in your device's memory while the App is running. Closing the App clears them. No method is 100 % secure, but the simplest way to protect your data is to never collect it — and that's the path we've chosen.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change FairiesEye in a way that affects privacy — for example, by adding cloud features — we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on this site before they take effect.
